An upright, spreading shrub grown for its highly nutritious bright red berries which grow sweeter and more abundantly than the species; long, flexible canes with clusters of gray-green leaves; deep purple flowers appear in late spring.Growing at a medium rate, to be about 12 feet tall at maturity, with a spread of 7 feet.
